Simply Polish Shop

I'm out shopping today but I wanted to share this news item with my local readers. From the Livonia Observer Newspaper comes an article, Simply Polish store promotes slice of culture.
Suzan Marzec believes that Americans of Polish descent should know and learn about their homeland.

So she opened a store, Simply Polish, entirely devoted to products and customs of everything Polish: pottery, greeting cars, costumes, shirts and dance.

"I started the business to inform those of us who are Polish about our beautiful customs," Marzec said. "My goal is to promote as much Polish information to those who have the desire to learn and make aware of the Polish community here in the suburbs."

Marzec has a degree from Poland in Polish folklore dance and customs.

"I offer classes that pertain to the Polish culture in dance, language art classes and information classes on holidays and soon will offer Polish ancestry classes to locate Polish roots." [More]

Simply Polish is located next to Polanka Market on Plymouth Rd.

It offers classes, and sales of Polish products, such as pottery and costumes.
