First St Joseph Sunset

As many times as I've been to St. Joseph in the last couple of months, I wasn't able to catch a Lake Michigan sunset until last evening. It was either overcast, raining, snowing, or I was in the middle of a project. I thought I would share with you my first St. Joseph sunset. This is it. This is what makes all the work on the condo worth while.

I know that I am truly fortunate and blessed to have the opportunity to see this beauty. But I have not forgotten my blogging buddies who are having a rough time of things right now. Sheri and Terry, you are in my thoughts and in my prayers. I hope your tomorrows will be better days.

  1. Thanks for sharing this image with us... it's wonderfully composed and really gives a strong sense of what it must have been like to be there to enjoy it.

  3. Beautiful photo! and to think I was 'just a little north of you in Ludington' at the time and headed back home before the sunset. Living in the Muskegon area I visit the beach for the sunset often. Isn't Lake Michigan great?

  4. Thank you, Jasia, for the beautiful photo and for putting things into perspective. By the way, my word verification word for this comment is "storm" - a real word! And perhaps appropriate in an odd way.
