Wonderful post. Thanks for posting such a exciting article. My dad was a WWII Veteran who landed 2nd wave Omaha Yellow on June 6, 1944.

I have cousins who live in Berrien County, so I am going to see they attend this great event. I would love to attend it myself.

I must admit that I did not know about this group. We have Civil War reenactors every summer in our area that do a wonderful job educating and engaging the public. Thanks for telling me about "Lest We Forget."

Well done. Our local re-enactors represent earlier times and on a much smaller scale, but they are all so important in helping us understand the costs in protecting our country and our freedom. Your group are most impressive and your photographs do a great job of documenting their efforts and our history. Thanks.
