About Those New Year's Resolutions...

What percentage of people who make New Year's resolutions keep them? Do you know? You might be surprised at the percentage of folks who are successful. I'm not going to tell you the number but I will share with you a link to a podcast (or listen online) that discusses the subject of New Year's resolutions with a noted psychologist. You can learn how many people are successful with their resolutions and what will make it more likely that you will be successful with yours. And yes, you are more likely to achieve your goal if you make a New Year's resolution than if you don't. Find out the details in How To Make New Year's Resolutions Stick.

While we're on the subject of New Year's resolutions... here's a blog post that will teach you the Polish phrase for "New Year's resolution" and how to pronounce it.

And a little reminder... the topic for the next edition of the Carnival of Genealogy is: New Year's resolutions. Now isn't that timely? ;-)
