Summer Events for Detroit Polonia

Here's a few Polish Detroit events you'll want to put on your calendar...

Polish Festival at Freedom Hill Park
16 Mile Road (Metropolitan Parkway) between Utica & Schoenherr Roads
Free admission, parking $7.00
Friday July 14 6pm-11pm
Saturday July 15 Noon-11pm
Sunday July 16 11:30am-10pm
Polish food, Sunday Mass, dance contest, classic car show, craft show, and lots of Polka bands!

Sweetest Heart of Mary's Annual Pierogi Festival
Russell St. at Canfield, Detroit
Free admission and free guarded parking
Saturday August 12 5pm-9pm
Sunday August 13 Noon-9pm
Pierogi & chicken dinners both days, live music, Polka Mass Saturday at 4pm, games of chance, raffles, beer & spirits, church tours, bingo, vegas wheel, souvenirs, baked goods, and more!

The St. Albertus Music Festival Fundraiser
(at St. Albertus Church)
St. Aubin at Canfield, Detroit
Admission will be $10.
August 19 1pm-10pm.
There will be a variety of bands including traditional jazz, bluegrass, folk, rock, and contemporary.
