This is My Life

I came across this graphic via Susan Kitchen's 2020 Hindsight blog and I just had to share it with you.

(Thanks for sharing Susan! She found it at the
gerald-able blog. The person who designed it is affiliated with There, hopefully I've given the proper credits to the proper people for the loan of this terrific graphic.)

I went into the field of web design to exercise my creativity and at that time I was able to do just that. Since then (fast forward 10 years) this is what my life has become... most of my work time is spent just like this!

Every once in a while I can get in a groove and for some reason everything just clicks. Those days are golden, but rare. This graphic shows my average work day. The longer I look at this graphic the more I think I need to find a new career.

Maybe I should make editing my novel a higher priority... ;-)

  1. This can't be your life...

Gee, I'm sure glad I'm not a web designer or anything remotely connected. I swear enough as it is!

    Take care -- Randy

  2. I think with almost any job you'd get a similar graphic. Might as well have one that has golden days.

  3. Boy, can I relate to this! It's why I stopped working on my graphics website, Kidmiff Kreations. I couldn't keep up with it all, even though I love designing new graphics. My work on my AnceStories website, as well as the two genealogy websites I built/maintain for others, keeps me busy enough!
