Ahhhem...About the Next Carnival of Genealogy

I'm still planning to publish the next edition of the Carnival of Genealogy as planned. So far, I've only received one submission. I'm hoping the reason for that is because you've all been giving me some time and space to grieve and not because the topic of "School Days" isn't of interest to you. While I very much appreciate your consideration, I'm getting a little concerned about the COG now. So if you've held off on submitting your articles on my account, please don't hesitate any longer. I appreciate your consideration but now I'd appreciate your submissions!

In lieu of tomorrow (April 30th) being One Day Blog Silence, I'm officially extending the deadline for submissions one additional day to include May 2nd. That will give you more time to write and publish something terrific about a school building, teacher, personal school memory, or family story that relates to school days.

I'm waiting... ;-)

  1. Hi, Jasia.

Just sent Tracing the Tribe's entry for the Carnival of Genealogy!

  2. I want to write something, as my grandparents were both rural schoolteachers, but I just got back from vacation! The one day extensions will help though. Hopefully I can get something written by the deadline.

  3. Thanks you guys! I appreciate the submissions!

  4. I've started writing a submission which should be ready by tomorrow. :)

  5. Jasia, I don't know whether I was inspired by the topic or the begging! Either way, I've just submitted my first-ever carnival post.

    I enjoy Creative Gene!

Posted but not certain it took.
