Polish Genealogy Presentation in Livonia, MI

Take a look at "Polish Genealogy" at the Civic Center Library on Saturday October 20th at 10am with presenter Carl Katafiasz. Many Polish immigrants entered the United States in the late nineteenth century under different nationalities because the nation of Poland did not exist between 1795 and 1920, making genealogical research more complicated. This program offers a brief history of Poland, cover Polish surnames and explore helpful resources. For more information on this program, please call the Civic Center Library at (734) 466-2197.
