Dogs Rule Day!

Thomas, dear that he is, alerted me to a fun event happening this week. This Saturday, October 11, is Dogs Rule® Day, "an international holiday for dogs". It's a day to celebrate man's (and woman's!) best friend. There is a web site and a facebook page for this event. I'm not sure if you have to be a facebook member to be able to access the fb page or not, but the web site has free access :-)

On the web site you can get 101 ideas for ways to celebrate the day, upload pictures of your dog, and get the snazzy badge to the right >

I'll be celebrating with my dog, Kaj, on Saturday although just what we'll be doing will depend on the weather. But along with whatever we do I'll be posting a picture of Kaj on my blog. I'm issuing a challenge to all other bloggers reading this post to do the same. Spend some time with your furry friend on Saturday and make him/her famous with a blog post and picture that day too! After all, they are a part of our family history!

Leave me a comment with a link to your picture/article and I'll post a round up of links on Monday, Oct. 13.

Dogs Rule! Thanks Thomas!

  1. Oh YAYA. I can post this on my dog's BLOG! He's part of a huge group of dog-bloggers at Dogs With Blogs (www.dogswithblogs.com.au). Last I looked there were over 700 dog-bloggers registered there!

  2. Jasia,
Thank you so much for the information on Dogs Rule Day! Of course it was nothing to write about our three cutie's. Here's the link:

Your puppy is growing so fast, it is so nice to see him "growing" up with your pictures. Thanks for sharing.
