It's Pierogi Festival Time At Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Detroit
The Pierogi Festival is this coming weekend, August 15 & 16, 2009
Festival hours are: Noon - 9pm Saturday and Noon - 8pm Sunday
Both days will feature:
Pierogi and Chicken dinners
Bingo in the Parish Hall
Olde School Resale Shoppe (in the partially refurbished high school)
Sale of frozen pierogi
Polish Bake Sale
Games
Saturday:
Veritones Polka Band Noon-3pm
English Mass - Joyful & Reverent Polka Mass 4pm
Halka Polish Dancers (children)
Pan Franek & Zosia Polka Towners 6:30-9pm
Sunday:
English Mass (before festival) 10:30am
Kielbasa Kings Band Noon-3pm
Guided Church Tour
Wawel Polish Dancers (adults)
3:30-4:30pm
Polish Muslims Band
Grand Raffle Drawing ($5,000 1st prize) 7pm
