A Good Time Will Be Had By All!

The big weekend for Polish fun in metro Detroit is coming up in just a few days! Sweetest Heart of Mary's Annual Pierogi Festival is this coming weekend, August 14th and 15th. As Polish festivals go, this one is as authentic as they come. Here's the schedule of events:

Saturday, August 14
Pierogi & chicken dinners - serving starts at noon
Bingo in parish hall - Noon-9pm
Olde School Resale Shoppe - Noon-8pm
Veritones Band - Noon-3pm
Appearance by Detroit Tiger "Paws" - 2pm-3pm
Fire truck demonstration - 2pm-3pm
Polka Mass - 4pm
Halka Dancers (children) - 5:30pm-6:30pm
Pan Franek & Zosia Polka Towners - 6:30pm-9pm

Sunday, August 15
Polka Mass - 10:30am
Pierogi & chicken dinners - Serving starts at Noon
Bingo in parish hall - Noon-7pm
Olde School Resale Shoppe - Noon-6pm
Kielbasa Kings Band - Noon-3:30pm
Face painting - 1:30pm-3pm
Appearance by Detroit Tiger "Paws" - 2pm-3pm
Guided church tour - 3pm
Fire truck demonstration - 3pm-4pm
Wawel Dancers (adults) - 3:30pm-4:30pm
Polish Muslims Band - 4:30pm-8pm
Pick-a-prize raffle drawing (big tent) - 6:30pm
Grand Raffle drawing (big tent) - 7pm
Festival Ends - 8pm

As always, there is lighted, guarded parking on the premises!
