NaNoWriMo, Day 1

I did it! I wrote the first few pages of my novel... 1342 words to be exact. It took me about 3 hours to write that much. But it was a good beginning. I was surprised at how I was able to make the story flow. I was also surprised at how many times I had to stop writing to check details to make sure that things could have happened in the time sequence I created. I think it's a challenge of writing about family characters. You have to keep looking things up to verify dates, places, times to keep the story integrity. It make take me more hours than I was figuring on to get this novel written. But I'm not discouraged! Happy November! Happy NaNoWriMo! Write On!
