Local genealogy goes high-tech:
From the Kalamazoo Gazette:DECATUR -- A new service in Van Buren County will make it much easier for those interested in conducting genealogy research.
An online Southwest Michigan Obituary Index that includes more than 76,000 entries from five counties in the region, has been launched by the Van Buren Regional Genealogical Society.
The obituaries indexed are from Allegan, Berrien, Cass, Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties.
