This parish had one of the finest Polish choirs in the State of Michigan.

Several years ago, the groundwork for a large Polish youth organization began at this parish.

Since its' founding, the parish has been one of the most stable and active Polish parishes in the Archdiocese.

Many parish members are involved in positions of leadership in metropolitan Polish organizations.

The school is now closed. Back in 1985, the elementary school had 403 students enrolled and was run by the Felician Sisters.

The Souvenir book of the Silver anniversary of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Parish, 1917-1942; and the Golden Jubilee book of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Parish, 1917-1967 are cataloged and searchable on the PGSA web site.
